Track classification

The tank track can be divided into two types according to its structure: metal pin hinge type and metal rubber hinge type. Metal rubber hinge can be divided into single pin type and double pin type.

The metal pin type crawler has simple structure, the pin and pin hole are directly dry friction, wear fast, and short service life. During tank maintenance, it is often found that the track pin is grinded into a "Tomatoes on sticks" shape. The track pin is also one of the wearing parts.

The metal rubber articulated track is vulcanized with multiple rubber collars on the metal pin and pressed into the track shoe pin hole. In this way, there is no direct friction between the track pin and the track shoe pin hole. When twisting, only the rubber collar produces elastic torsion, with low noise and long service life. Of course, the structure is also complex and the cost is high. The double-pin metal rubber track connects the two pins of the two track shoes with the end connector. The force is good and the disassembly and assembly are convenient, but the structure is complex, which is the main track form on the main battle tank

Product Working Attentions

(1) It is forbidden to turn sharply on the concrete ground or hard road, otherwise the track core will be worn and the belt body will be twisted.

(2) When crossing the ridge, it is necessary to move forward at a low speed at right angles to the ridge. When crossing the ridge with a height of more than 10 cm, it is necessary to use a springboard, otherwise the track may fall off or be damaged.

(3) It is forbidden to walk and turn sharply for a long time on the gravel road, otherwise the track will be accelerated, worn and cracked.

(4) Do not work on rotten fields, otherwise the track will slip and make the traveling mechanism accumulate mud and tangle grass, affecting the normal operation.

(5) If stones or foreign matters enter between the track and the underframe, stop the operation immediately and remove the stones or foreign matters.

(6) After working on the beach or in the field sprinkled with chemicals, the track shall be washed in time.
